Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small text file a site leaves in your browser so it can recognise the same visit as you move from one page to the next. Diametrix is described across several pages here, and the handful of cookies below are what keeps those pages, and the order form, working the way they should.
What each type does
- Necessary. Hold your session together — keep an order form filled in while you scroll, remember a section you already opened, keep the menu working. Without these, parts of the site misbehave.
- Preference. Remember small, harmless choices so the page does not reset every time you return.
- Measurement. Count visits in aggregate — which pages get read, which are abandoned quickly, whether something is loading too slowly. Numbers, not names.
What they are never used for
No cookie here stores your name, phone number, or anything typed into the order form. None are sold, none are shared with an advertising network, and none are used to track you across other sites.
Turning them off
Every browser lets you block or clear cookies without asking our permission first:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Delete browsing data.
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Block All Cookies, or Clear History and Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge and Opera: Settings → Privacy → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking the necessary cookies usually means an order form loses what you typed. Blocking the measurement ones changes nothing you will notice.
